Lore

It's me... Heiri! Waf waf waf!

I am a Dog Demon ENVtuber who loves Neapolitan Ice Cream and as sweet as can be! (Mostly..)I have my sweet boy, Theo, who is my Australian Shepherd. I have my girl Aria, who is my Border Collie.I mostly spend my time making coffee (Previously a barista), playing video games, and drawing.

Heiri was a demon dog that had been set on duty for the next millennia. She was being punished for her previous outings, having escaped hell and slipped onto a hippie bus to travel the US– This was a few decades ago, but now, she’s guarding the gates, ensuring no one gets in… or out. She chats with her other guard buddy and they claim that there’s a rumor that any guard dog can escape for however long if they get a word in with Fierra herself, the Demon Queen… So Heiri makes a scene, is threatened to be brought to Fierra, and then pushes her limits, spurring the higher ranked guards to take her straight to Fierra’s chambers. She finds that Fierra is actually quite reminiscent on her time living in the midlands, and agrees to let her explore, on the condition that if the underworld should need her, she should return immediately. Upon agreeing, a crack forms in the ceiling and Heiri is thrown straight through it, landing in the middle of the street on Earth. She’s entirely lost, but she’s reveling in the excitement of it all. A group walks by her wearing very flashy and trendy clothing, whom she follows, and quickly finds that they’re streaming their lives to something called the internet. Inspired by it, she swears to herself that she’ll find a way to uncover the mysteries of this new Earth, and ‘streaming.’── ⟢ ・⸝⸝The BeginningHeiri had been a guard dog of hell for centuries before her escape… An escape in which she had spent several months of her life on the road with a group that referred to themselves as ‘The Movement.’ It exhilarated her, being away from home; she had seen so many exciting things– Towers that soared into the beautiful blue sky, people in vivid colors, relishing their freedom… But it had all changed the moment the ground cracked beneath her, dragging her back into hell.
“What in the Hells were you thinking?” Adonia, her higher-up, scolded her firmly. Heiri had no excuse– She had slipped out of their sight and scaled the stairs with such ease that they had now formed a new protocol to ensure others didn’t do the same.
“I wanted to see the world, Adonia. I wanted to experience what it had to offer truly– I wasn’t gone for long!” Heiri exclaimed in response, throwing her hands out in anger. “I’m stuck cooped up down here for centuries! I wanted the sun on my face and the happiness of humans around me for once! We don’t even get vacations!”
“Guards of Hell do not NEED vacations, and you best start acting like one before you get yourself into some real trouble,” Adonia snapped before placing Heiri back on her post and leaving her to her own thoughts.
── ⟢ ・⸝⸝50 years later…Heiri had stayed at her post for decades before her Earthly cravings crawled back under her skin. She feared what lay above Adonia and what might happen to her if she did step out of line… But she had begun to reminisce on what she had done in the past. What was she truly protecting, anyway? No one could get out of their section of Hell… They were maximum security, and who would want to break into that?
She was doing her usual rounds across the various doors of their sector when her guarding partner, Ebnon, approached.
“Boring, as it usually is, hm? You’d think someone would’ve found a way to slip out of their cage by now,” he joked, cracking his back. “I’m beginning to think that we’re the ones being tortured.”
“Yeah, I’d appreciate a damn break,” Heiri responded, huffing and brushing her hair out of her face. “I know I was born here, but… It just doesn’t fit me. I’m not meant to be here, guarding, forever,” she spewed her heart out, finding it hard to restrain her emotions. “Don’t you get it?”
“Nah.” Ebnon shook his head and looked over with a hint of pity in his eyes. “Free food, free houses, no vacations, but at least we’re taken care of, y’know? We know we won’t ever end up where the mortals are.”
“Mortals are exactly who fascinate me the most,” Heiri whined, rubbing her face. “I’ve got to get out of here.”
“Well, Fierra is always an option,” Ebnon mused, elbowing Heiri lightly.
“Fierra?” Heiri questioned, looking over at him as her ears perked upwards.
“Goddess of Death, Manager of Hell,” Ebnon went on, expecting a lightbulb to light above Heiri’s head, to no avail. He sighed. “She’s the big bad. The Devil.”
“How the Hell am I supposed to get a seat with The Devil herself?” Heiri questioned frantically. “You must be out of your mind.”
“I’m just saying, if you cause a big enough fuss, you’ll get sent right to her, and you’re damn good at causing problems.”
Heiri mulled it over in her mind for a moment, nodding slowly. “A fuss… Like… This?”
Heiri reached out for one of the various handles of the doors housing a human’s personal Hell and opened it. She then did so to another and another until humans and demons alike were spilling out into the hallway.
“...You think that’ll do it?” She questioned, looking over at Ebnon, whose eyes were wide.
“...Yup. That’ll do it…”
Heiri felt a shadow slide over her body, sending a shiver down her spine. She slowly turned to meet the furrowed brow of Adonia, who grappled her by the arm and dragged her down the hallway.
“Do you have any idea of what you’ve just done?” Adonia scolded her firmly, throwing her forward and snapping her fingers so the humans were thrown back into their cage. “You’ve breached our security systems.”
“I want an audience with Fierra,” Heiri exclaimed proudly, placing her hands on her hips.
“And what’s your plan then? To be put into your little Hellish world? Fierra is not a sparing woman, Heiri.”
Heiri hesitated, narrowing her eyes as she thought it over… But she soon concluded that nothing could be worse than working for the rest of eternity. She wanted to be free, and she’d be damned if she didn’t take a chance to be so… Literally.
“I don’t care. I demand an audience with Fierra!”
“...If that’s what you wish.” Adonia flicked her wrist, opening a flaming door to another room, before throwing Heiri inside.
Heiri stumbled to the floor, inhaling sharply as the door closed. She was left alone in the room. She turned to face a woman sitting elegantly on a throne of inky darkness, clothed in black silk that curled around her body.
“And so we finally meet,” Fierra spoke calmly, looking down with a smile. “You’re smaller than I expected.”
“To be fair, you are about ten feet taller than me,” Hiere chuckled as she dusted herself off.
“And what makes you think I won’t damn you for your actions?” Fierra raised a brow, leaning forward.
“I did them to speak with you. I figured you could solve it; you’re the Devil… I needed an audience with you to ask you for something vital.” Heiri approached her on her throne. “I need to go to Earth.”
Fierra laughed, leaning back in her chair and tilting her head. “You, little guard dog, want to go to Earth?”
“I was born here, but it’s not where I wish to stay. Everything’s more vibrant and exciting out there– I’m meant to be with humans.”
Fierra hummed softly, nodding. “I’ve watched you in your time here. You’re a strong guard, but you’re hesitant… A vacation may benefit you well. On one condition.”
Heiri nodded enthusiastically. “Any condition.”
“If you are needed, you must return immediately. Any time I call for you, you will come,” Fierra hummed, summoning a small charm in her hand. She leaned forward to place it in Heiri’s open hand. “This will bring you to your post.”
“Deal. If that’s what you need, then deal!” Heiri took the coin and pocketed it.
Cracks began to form in the ceiling, causing debris to crumble and fall downward– Heiri could see the distant sunlight peering in.
“Enjoy the sun, little pup, and wait for my call.”
Within a blink, Heiri was on the sidewalk of a bustling street, blending in with the crowd.
